Savannah Rapids Open Air Spaces

ChairsThe following open air spaces are reserved through the Savannah Rapids Pavilion Office. To reserve, please fill out the rental application and submit via email or fax. Please call 706-868-3349 with any questions.

When checking availability, find your preferred space and navigate to your date of choice. Green indicates that the space is fully available on your chosen date, yellow indicates partial availability, and red indicated that the space is not available on your chosen date.

PavilonDating back to the 1880's the open air Dance Pavilion overlooks the scenic Augusta Canal, while accommodating up to 120 guests. Tables and chairs are included, as well as access to ceiling fans, lights, electricity, and water.

The Dining Hall is very popular for family reunions and wedding receptions for its location and price. Accommodating up to 100 guests, the open air screened in pavilion overlooks the scenic Augusta Canal. It includes eight 9-foot picnic tables, ceiling fans, and access to water, electricity, and lights.

The BBQ Pit is the open air pavilion next to the dining hall.

Savannah Rapids Park Historical Canal Headgates and Savannah Rapids Pavilion 14The Mill House is a quaint venue to beat the unpredictable weather. Accommodating 16 people, it includes cabinets with sink, mini-fridge, and tables and chairs.

Savannah Rapids Park Historical Canal Headgates and Savannah Rapids Pavilion 19Tucked away amid the Magnolia trees, the Magnolia Picnic Pavilion is the largest pavilion located in the southern section of the park. The pavilion accommodates 40 people. It includes 4 picnic tables (2 handicap accessible), 3 charcoal grills, and access to water, electricity, and ceiling fans.

The Creekview Picnic Pavilion is adjacent to the Mill House and up hill from Reed Creek, and accommodates 20 people. It includes 2 picnic tables, 2 charcoal grills, and access to water, electricity, and ceiling fans.

The Overlook Picnic Pavilion is the closest pavilion to the foot bridge, canal, and river access points. It is situated at a slightly higher elevation to take advantage of the beautiful view.
