New Businesses

You will need the account and bill numbers provided to you in the approval email.  

Renewing Businesses

The renewal deadline without penalty for 2026 licenses is January 31, 2026.  

If your business is within Columbia County, but not in the cities of Grovetown or Harlem, the 2026 renewal applications were mailed December 4, 2025.  The application contains the account and bill numbers in the top right corner.  A duplicate may be requested by emailing the Licensing Department.  If your business in the city limits of Grovetown or Harlem or outside of Columbia County, please reach out to us for instructions to file your renewal.  

If you do not have a Citizen Self Service account, you will need to complete the registration process. Registration details are at the bottom of this page.

Login to Citizen Self Service and select Licensing from the menu on the right if using a desktop computer or from the Expand Menu at the top if using a mobile device. Enter the account number and bill number as shown on the top right corner of the renewal application or in the approval email for a new business. If you pay for multiple accounts, add the bill to your shopping cart and then return to the Licensing page and repeat the process until all bills are in the shopping cart.

Citizen Self Service Registration

From the Login website, click registration and follow the instructions to create a new account. When the registration is complete, a confirmation screen will display with a link to login to the site. The link does not work. You must login using the Citizen Self-Service website.
