Water Utility: Engineering & Inspections

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Columbia County Water Utility is aware of issues with water quality in the system. Crews are flushing the lines. During business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), if you notice discolored water, you may email the Water Quality department with your name and address. We will dispatch a crew to flush in your area. After hours, please call 706-860-2587 to report discolored water. 

Construction Standards & Specifications

The Columbia County Board of Commissioners approved the revised Water Utility Construction Standards and Specifications at its February meeting. A bound copy may be purchased at the Administrative Office. The current cost is $40.

The new documents are available for download at no charge.
