FLY Financial Assistance Program

Columbia County Parks, Recreation & Events (CCPRE) is committed to making recreation programs accessible to all residents. The FLY (Funding for Learning & Youth Recreation) Program provides financial assistance for youth and teen programs, including summer camps.

Eligibility

If your household participates in programs such as free or reduced lunch, SNAP (formerly food stamps), housing choice vouchers (including Section 8), Medicaid, SSI/SSDI, or other public assistance, you may qualify for financial assistance. To determine eligibility, complete a FLY Financial Assistance Application.

Application Process

Complete the FLY application and attach proof of financial need.

Allow up to two (2) weeks for review and processing.

You will be notified of your application status via email or phone.

Fee discounts are valid for one (1) year from the date of approval.

Applications are accepted year-round, with discounts applied to upcoming programs.

Note: Submitting a FLY application does not automatically register you for a program or approve you for financial assistance. You may register and pay for programs while waiting for your application review. If approved, any applicable discount will be added to your account.

Confidentiality

All application details and supporting documents are strictly confidential.
