Columbia County Fire Rescue will continue offering CPR/AED courses in 2026 to the general public.
These courses are offered through the American Heart Association Heartsaver Program and are designed for individuals with limited or no medical training and are not BLS courses for healthcare providers. The CPR/AED course teaches participants how to effectively administer CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in emergencies.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants have the option to pay $25 for a completion card that is valid for two years.
The CPR courses will be held at Fire Station 2, located at 518 Gibbs Road, Evans, GA 30809, on the dates provided below at 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The course will last approximately two hours. Saturday courses will be CPR/AED and First Aid Courses and last from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
